Character you are applying for: Akito Sohma
How far are you in the manga and anime?: Manga:1:Anime:all
How often will you be available to Roleplay?: Everyday
How should this character be portrayed? What is he/she like?: Akito is rude, disrespectful... And hateful and hateful in many ways. But deep down inside, she could be a sweethearted girl.
One thing you like about this character: Well, she's really nice but really is nice at the same time. Me, (Myself) thinks that she can be cured from this horrible disease to live, I also love everything about this character.
At least ten lines of sample RP: Isn’t it funny how some things just seem so... regular? It's like... you're walking down a regular street in a regular city, when you bump into a regular person who happens to be walking down the same regular street in the same regular city at the same regular time? You both apologize politely and move on with your pointless, regular lives anyways... You’ll probably never see that person again, or maybe you will, and you will have forgotten that you had bumped them. But it doesn't matter.
That is what fate had wanted you to do at that very regular second. I know it all sounds crazy to you at the moment, but think of it this way; you're deciding between renting, "Bob Goes to the Library" and, "Bob Doesn't Go to the Library" from the Movie Mart, and when you decided and go home, as you're watching, "Bob Doesn't Go to the Library", you wonder, "What would it have been like if Bob DID go to the library?"
I’ve explained enough about how fate works, and if you’re still not getting it, well, I’m sorry. I tried my best. I’ll try one last time: you breathe because Fate wants you to. It’s not your own decision, but Fate’s. Every little thing you do is chosen by Fate, and you are simply Fate’s puppet to be toyed with. The only thing you can control is the fact that you cut your strings, and Fate can’t play with you anymore, but at the same time, you can no longer move, and you die. Yes people, this would be called ‘suicide’, but even then Fate is influencing you towards this decision with what it has done to you. And you're not your own Fate, so who is? Fate is; that's just how Fate wanted it, too.
Isn’t Fate fun? You think you’re so independent and yet you’re controlled no matter what you do. Letting Fate control you isn’t always bad though, in fact, following Fate is exactly how I found the one person I’ll love for the rest of my life. Now, I haven’t told him about my whole ‘Fate’ theory, because he'll probably tell me I worry too much, but Fate brought us together... the Fate of the zodiac.
Yes, I am a person, a person whom Fate has talked to - ridiculed, even... A person who allows Fate to push her through her life, even choosing when she was supposed to die, irregularly.
And Fate was what brought me to what I was doing at the same moment I was musing over all this; the same thing Fate made me do every single regular-bloody-day. d**n it, Fate was a very *friendly* person, wasn't it? Always whoring away at your life...
Akito Sohma smiled to herself ruefully, letting these thoughts pass through her head idley. She'd had thoughts like this before... she'd learned to simply brush them off as another bout of her own insanity. Shigure Sohma was not one to bother himself with such thoughts, and so obviously, as she had mused, she shouldn't bother him with them, either. So instead she just bothered herself with them, she figured, as she lay sprawled on the porch form her room, a tiny white bird perched on her pale, slender finger. The sun beat down on her thin face, causing an etherial illusion that almost removed her boyishness, making her look more feminine. It was one of those rare moments in time that she felt like a woman: when no one was around to disturb her.
They still didn't know yet. The zodiac. About her gender. Hatori and Shigure were the only ones that knew; not even Ayame knew, and he had heard the musings of Shigure regularly. It was strange, acting like a boy infront of the two men that knew when others were in thier presence, and then suddenly being ALLOWED to be a girl as soon as it was just the three of them... she never took the opportunities.
Once again, Fate whores out my life and urges me on to act like a boy infront of them anyways.
Akito rolled her eyes glumly and pulled her legs up to her chest, pushing herself into a kneeling position and standing up. Her kimono hung limply off of her shoulders; she didn't really care... part of her masculinity, she supposed, not fussing over her looks... unlike the other concieted bitches that surrounded her; every where she looked, there was someone checking thier make up in the mirror, or getting hair extensions, or even going to the lengths of not emerging from thier vanity-plagued caves of rooms because thier hair was frizzy, or they had a pimple.
Okay, so maybe all girls weren't like that... but compared to Akito herself, that's what it seemed like; especially since her mother had been like that.
Oh Fate, how cruel thou art.
Making her way back into her room, she noted vaguely that days that nice rather pissed her off; she could only go out as far as her porch... or maybe the question was that she didn't want to go out as far as her porch?
Akito found herself longing for company rather suddenly. It was lonely, being the God... knowing you had less than two years to live. It was painful, looking at people like Kyo, Yuki, and expecially Kisa and Hiro; cursed as they were, they still had full lives ahead of them, while she... did not.
Her eyes wandered over to the door as she noted that the little white bird had flown off as she entered her room... how she longed to see someone enter through that door simply for the leisure of enjoying her presence, not to ask permission to do something like Akito was going to rip thier heads off, and then scurry out as fast as possible.
She'd wanted Shigure to walk through those doors for that reason for some time now... she hadn't really known when it had started. It just sort of popped into her head at one point and never left. It was infuriating.
She jumped as a knock sounded from the other side of the door; had her prayers been answered?
Pfft, no. Stupid Fate. Always not letting me get what I want!
Akito stared at the door cautiously. It was true; Fate never let her have whatever she wanted, so for all she knew, it could just be Hatori coming for an unscheduled check up, or someone asking permission for something pointless that they shouldn't need to ask permission for.
But what if it isn't?
She blew the thought off the minute it passed through her head; that was ridiculous. There was no other reason anyone would come to visit her. But as the head of the house, it was her job to take responsibility for the actions of the other zodiac, and to make sure they didn't do anything stupid. That also meant listening to thier bitching.
What a pain.
Akito figured she'd just have to make this quick. With that thought in mind, she swept forward and cautiously slid open the door to find - no one there... but the wall didn't seem right. The disturbance catching her eye, her gaze floated downwards to the problem; to find it was... Shigure sitting, leaned up against the wall? What was he doing there?
Her hands flew up quickly to the shoulders of her kimono, pulling it up over her shoulders to sit properly on her body; it wasn't like it was all that revealing, but it made her look sloppy and... indecent. That was definately NOT what she wanted. It was a good thing Kureno hadn't been around, or it could have given somebody the wrong idea.
"Shigure..." Akito started, noting the annoyed tone in her voice that she always seemed to have. She softened it, and it almost seemed like it wasn't there anymore as she spoke quietly, "What are you doing here?"
Come on, Fate... don't let me down here.
Akito Sohma is my favorite character, yes. I read the rules. PLUS, sorry if there is too much curse words. ^-^
